Description |
The Kansas City Section of the IEEE has established a scholarship program for the purpose of furthering the education of students pursuing careers in IEEE designated fields of interest. These fields include electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, computer sciences, and the allied branches of engineering and related arts and sciences. Scholarships are awarded each January to students enrolled full time in a curriculum leading to an undergraduate degree in one of these fields from an accredited college or university. A maximum of five scholarships of up to $400 each will be awarded. The scholarship funds are to be used only for undergraduate tuition, room and board, and other school charges (lab fees, books, etc.). Funds will be sent directly to the school's registrar or financial aid office for credit to the student's account. |

The deadline for receipt of all application information including the student's transcript and letter of recommendation is TBA. (Any applicants sending overnight packages must make delivery arrangements by contacting the Student Activities Chair.)
