| Honorary Officer: Fred Schnittker
Here's a photo of Fred Schnittker, who spends considerable time in his retirement working to further the cause of the IEEE and improve the interest in science among future generations. Fred is the recipient of many awards, including the IEEE Millennium Medallion. Through phone calls, mailings, and personal visits, Fred promotes excellence in the IEEE, engineering, and the sciences. |

| Fred was the Life Member Chair until the middle of 2000. After a career marked by accomplishment, he is now focusing his efforts on other activities (including long walks with his wife and his dog). | |
