2005 Nomination Committee Action Dates

03 May 04: DawnVanDee (IEEE Kansas City Section Past Chair) accepted the responsibility of being the Chair of the 2005 IEEE KC Elected Officer Nomination Committee (NomCom).  

08 Jun 04: The NomCom formed.

06 Aug 04: The NomCom provided a 2005 KC Section Slate of Officers for Section Executive Committee consideration.

08 Aug 04: The IEEE KC Section Chair recommended a change in the slate. The 2005 Nominations Committee approved, and amended the 2005 KC Section Slate of Officers.

12 Aug 04: 2005 KC Section Slate of Officers, as presented by the 2005 NomCom, has been posted on the IEEE KC Website. This information also came out in an electronic newsletter. The bylaws require this be done at least 42 days to close of nominations (23 Sep 04).  

23 Sep 04: Nominations are closed for the2005 IEEE KC elected officer positions. Any “Nomination Petitions” must be received by DawnVanDee, Chair of the NomCom, by close of business 23 Sep 04. If more than 1 person is seeking a 2005 IEEE KC elected officer position, an e-mail vote will be conducted and finalized for the 21 October 04 IEEE KC dinner meeting.

21 Oct 04: If more than 1 person is seeking a 2005 IEEE KC elected officer position, the finalized voting results will be presented at the 21 Oct 04 IEEE KC dinner meeting. If only 1 person is seeking each 2005 IEEE KC elected officer position, a vote to accept the 2005 KC Section Slate of Officers as provided by the 2005 NomCom will be taken at the 21 Oct 04 IEEE KC dinner meeting.
