Treasurer

Function:

Financial manager of the Section.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Transfers financial records at start of year.
2. Maintains accurate financial records.
3. Banking of funds.
4. Preparing annual budget.
5. Making disbursements for authorized expenditures.
6. Assures disbursements are made in accordance with IEEE policy.
7. Familiarity with IEEE "Financial Operations Guide."
8. Prepares annual Section financial report.

 

Authority:

Approval of disbursement in accordance with Section bylaws.

 

Relationship:

Reports to the Section Chair.

 

Reports:

Prepares annual Section financial report (Form L-50) for submission to IEEE Operations Center at first of every year.
