Function:

Administrative manager of the Section.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Records minutes of Executive Committee and Business meetings.
2. Distributes meeting notices.
3. Reports annual meeting activity in a timely manner to IEEE Operations Center.
4. Maintains membership records (mailing and e-mail lists).
5. Analyzes membership records.
6. Maintains Section records.
7. Notifies IEEE Operations Center of changes in Section Officers and Committee Chairs.
8. Maintains a record of Section and Chapter Officers and Committee Chairs.
9. Maintains a file of active volunteers.

Authority:

1. Generates all Section correspondence delegated by Section Chair.
2. Operates within authority specified within Section bylaws.

Relationship:

Reports to the Section Chair.

Reports:

1. Provides an annual summary of all meeting activity of the Section, Subsection(s) and Chapters to the Section Chair.
2. Provides a listing of new Section and Chapter Officers and Committee Chairs (Form L-5) to IEEE Operations Center at the beginning of each year. In addition, an update is provided when Officers or Committee Chairs are replaced. (not in R5 training manual) Provides same to scs-officer@ieee.org
3. Submits the annual report (Form L-3 1) of Section and Chapter activities to IEEE Operations Center at the beginning of each year.
