EXCOM Organization and Duties

Section Officers

The Officers shall include at least the following elected positions:

Chair
Vice Chair
Secretary
Treasurer or
Secretary/ Treasurer

Sections will typically have a number of appointed Committee Chairs typically including:

PACE Committee Chair
Education Committee Chair
Awards Committee Chair
Student Activities Committee Chair
Membership Chair

Terms of Office:

Normally one year as set forth in the Section bylaws. In any case, term shall continue until successors take office. All Sections are now required to be on year ending calendar, thus terms will start on January 1. Election procedures should be specified in the Section bylaws.
