12:10 Meeting opened by Randy (Quorum x 3)

12:14 Discussed reporting procedure: Randy stated he would like to
have an e-mail from each member of EXCOM before each meeting stating what
had been done or accomplished since the last meeting. Also discussed were
the possibilities of alternate routes of sending e-mail and the majordomo
reliability or the lack thereof. Randy was going to investigate a little further.

12:25 The Jim Roberts  Fellow Nomination was discussed and Dr. Rummer gave
his impressions of Jim Roberts. Dale Rummer moved and Mark Lamendola
seconded the motion. Board voted unanimously in favor of this motion.

12:30 IEEE R5 meeting attendance was discussed. Sal Cerda, Saad Siddiqi, and
Jim Berard expressed interest. Dale Rummer moved to up the section
money up to $3500 for those attending expenses. Saad Saddiqi seconded the
motion. Board voted unanimously in favor of motion.

12:35 Formation of Work Team was established for a future R5 conference.
Dale Rummer will head up a written invitation, and the Team consists of
Dale Rummer, Saad Siddiqi, Jim Berard, Randy Smischny, Dawn Van Dee.

12:42 Formation of Work Team and discussion of technical seminars and/or
tutorials in 2H 2001. Dale Rummer and Randy Smischny and Mark Lamendola
somewhat volunteered for Co-Chair? of Team.
