General Note: There is no July 2001 meeting scheduled..
Jim Berard move to cancel June dinner meeting. Saad Siddiqi second.
Discussion: Hold June open for something else to broaden participation. Motion passed by acclimation.
May 2001 Meeting. Explore speaker who produced the Fun damentals of Electricity videos. Dale Rummer to explore cost for speaker and report at next meeting.
August Meeting What went right
August meeting. 54 dinner. 12 other attendees. What went right. Good topic and good promotion.
Officers: 2001
Recommended officer roster to membership by October Meeting.
Section Awards:
Saad is working on it. Saad needs input from EXCOM to identify whom should be recognized. Send e-mail. Plaque for some, certificate for others, recognize an IEEE member who embellishes IEEEs image.
IEEE HQ
Problems with database, PES problem, reports, refunds, etc. High standards for financial report. L50 report is now an Excel spreadsheet. Randy indicated complexity of treasurer report.
Per Bob Grohs contact with national, all local checking accounts must be eliminated. Society accounts must be eliminated. All must be through the national IEEE account. This must be done by 12/31/00. Bob will contact Society members to review.
