The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Consultants Network of Kansas City (KCCN) is pleased to offer this online resource to our customers in industry and government. This site is a reference and guide to the engineers and technical specialists who make up our membership. KCCN members have extensive experience in such areas as analog electronics, digital electronics, computer hardware, electro-mechanical hardware, forensics, information systems, networks, lighting and power systems, new product development, product and system testing, programming, project management, quality assurance, RF and microwave electronics, reliability, software engineering, and telecommunications.

This site is also intended to provide information for those interested in becoming a member of the IEEE Consultants Network of Kansas City. The IEEE Consultants Network of Kansas City provides support services to its members through meetings, speakers, libraries, and the opportunity to list their services. Special Seminar on Grounding and Shielding

The IEEE Consultants Network, Kansas City Chapter, is presenting a seminar on the proper grounding and shielding of electrical and electronic systems. This is open to all interested parties, and if you have any interest in grounding or shielding you do not want to miss this event.

    Dir: 5800 College Blvd. south of I-435. Exit Nall Avenue (77B), right on Nall Avenue (south) to College Blvd; right on College Blvd. Hotel is on right, one half block. Plenty of free parking.

Our speaker will be Dr. Tom Van Doren, an electrical engineer specializing in solving EMC/EMI problems and a long-time faculty member of the Missouri University of Science and Technology (“MUST”) [formerly, the University of Missouri-Rolla in Rolla, Missouri].

Register before 01 April and:

  • IEEE member cost is $720.
  • Non-IEEE member cost is $855.
  • If three or more individuals from the same organization attend the seminar, each individual pays the reduced IEEE member rate, regardless of their IEEE member status.

Register 01 April or later:

  • IEEE member cost is $800.
  • Non-IEEE member cost is $950.
  • If three or more individuals from the same organization attend the seminar, each individual pays the reduced IEEE member rate, regardless of their IEEE member status.
