Profile

Fred Granville is an independent network consultant specializing in network security, VPN design and LAN/WAN design. He has extensive consulting and hands-on installation experience with firewalls, routers, layer-three ethernet switches and Virtual Private Networks (VPN). Fred has over twelve years configuration experience with Cisco products, including enterprise routers, Catalyst switches, and the PIX firewall. He has also worked with networking products from Nortel, Netscreen, 3COM, Dell, HP and Vanguard. He holds the Cisco CCNA and CCNP certifications.

Fred is an alumnus of IBM Global Servces and has held positions of responsibility within IBM as a design engineer, systems engineer, technical project manager, and senior network consultant. He has extensive project managment experience and is an experienced leader of teams of engineers on complex networking projects.
