IEEE Communications Society, Kansas City Chapter

What is the Communications Society?

The Communications Society covers all major areas of communications technology including telecommunications, wireless communications, and networking.

  • Members get access to webinars and many communications tutorials for only $50 (non-members $250).

  • COMSOC has recently started a comprehensive Wireless Certification program (WCEP).  Learn more at http://www.ieee-wcet.org

  • You can find more info at www.comsoc.org.

Why a local chapter?

This affords local members the opportunity to meet, network, and socialize with their peers while enjoying local programs.

We encourage COMSOC members who want to be involved in the local chapter to run for office. It provides resume-building opportunities, leadership experience, and the chance to influence what takes place in regard to the local chapter. The time commitment is less than many people think.

Opportunities

  • Present to our group.
