IEEE Computer Society, Kansas City ChapterCompSoc homepageIEEE Computer Society ShirtsWe had a successful shirt project. Everybody who now has one is impressed with the shirt they bought (actually, several people bought more than one shirt). Shirts are still available on an individual basis, and there is some lead time involved. If you want a shirt now, these are $35 each, if paid by check. If you pick up your shirt(s) at Mark Lamendola's house, there's no shipping. Otherwise, we can ship it (them) to you for $10. If interested, contact Mark Lamendola at comments @ mindconnection.com Info about the shirt: The "Ultimate" Outer Banks polos are 100% Combed Ringspun Cotton 7.0 oz Short-Sleeve Pique Sport Shirts. These are heavy-weave (read, "high quality) 100% cotton. They are of quality construction and have the "no curl collar." They do not have pockets. |

Polo shirts: The "Ultimate" Outer Banks polos are 100% Combed Ringspun Cotton 7.0oz Short-Sleeve Pique Sport Shirts. These are heavy-weave (read, "high quality) 100% cotton. They are of quality construction and have the "no curl collar." They do not have pockets. Denim shirts: These are, as you might have suspected, made of denim. They are long-sleeved button-downs. They look very much like the PES denim shirts that you may have seen Chris Zugelder and some others wear to the dinner meetings (see Chris' picture in that shirt on the home page). Logo: The logo color pattern will depend on the color of the shirt. The logo color will be the same for a given color of shirt (e.g., the logo will be the same on all red shirts). The logo will be about 2.5 inches tall and be embroidered above the pocket area. If you've seen the PES shirts, you have a good idea of what we're doing in that respect. Here's a scan of some sample sewouts of the logo:
