Officer Job Description: Section Past Chair

The Section Past Chair is not the supervisor of the Section Chair.

The Section Past Chair:

Ensures smooth turnover to the incoming Chair.
Chairs the Nomination Committee, and should begin forming that committee in the month immediately following the end of his/her chairmanship (January).
Defers to the Chair.
Assists the Chair as called upon.
Is a voting member of the EXCOM.
