Program: Benjamin Vos will present on WiMAX. Ben Vos is Vice President of Technology Development Organization, Sprint.

There is much in the trade press these days about the future of wireless communications. WiMAX, LTE, and UMB are competing 4G technologies that offer great promise in delivering a truly broadband mobile experience. But when will this experience be available? What 4G technologies will be broadly deployed? What will the performance be? What business model will be most successful in a mobile broadband environment? These questions will be answered in the context of Sprint’s planned deployment of commercial mobile broadband services in 2008. This deployment is based on WiMAX access technology and has a new brand name – Xohm.
