Program: "Pervasive to Invasive: When the computers start controlling our lives." Speaker is our very own Ted Atchinson. Computers are increasingly becoming integrated into our every day life. Pervasive computing raises questions of privacy and adaptability. Current and future software and hardware of pervasive computing is discussed, using the care of frail elderly as a model. Location: Wyndham Garden Hotel, I-435 & Metcalf
