Speaker and Program: Richard L. Henderson BSEE, University of Kansas,
MSEE, University of Missouri-Columbia, has worked in the Kansas City area as a
embedded systems hardware and software designer since 1980. Mr. Henderson holds
two patents in the area of DSP algorithms for Doppler radar processing and has
worked for several area companies as a contract/consulting engineer DSP and
embedded systems design. He currently teaches hardware and software design at
DeVry University and continues to work with industry on a contract/consulting
basis.
The Bushnell Speedster is a low-cost, high-performance DSP radar gun aimed primarily at speed measurement for sports such as baseball, tennis and automobile racing. The Speedster utilizes the newer generation of low-cost, low-power DSP processors and support peripheral chips to bring the accuracy and precision of police traffic radar to the consumer in a handheld, lightweight, battery powered, low cost package.

Charge: Dinner $20/18* for members & guests, students $12/10*. No charge for
presentation.
