IEEE Kansas City Section September Meeting

Section Meeting

Thursday, September 21, 2000

Sponsored by the KC Chapter of the IEEE Computer Society

Please note: When you register by the deadline, you get a discount. If you register and don't cancel by the deadline, you are basically ordering a meal the Section must pay for. Thus, if we can't sell your spot to someone who did not register, we will bill you for that meal. The odds of reselling are poor, as nearly everyone registers by the deadline these days.

Program: Autodesk will tell us about their Actrix product, and they'll show us where the different CAD products fit in the hierarchy of drawing complexity. The goal of this presentation is to remove some of the confusion about CAD products in general and highlight Actrix in particular. Actrix users include Sprint, Black & Veatch, and other companies with members in the KC Section.

Here's Chuck's tentative outline:

Dinner reservation deadline is noon, Monday, September 18. Leave Sal Cerda a message at dinner @ ieee-kc.org  or 913-534-2948 with your name, company name, and daytime ph#. A reservation gets you a discount on your dinner, and makes things easier all around.

Contact the Webmaster (Mark Lamendola) at writer @ ieee.org. If you would like to be the Webmaster, I am looking for someone to replace me. Please contact me if you're interested.
