Program: IEEE-USA staffer Russ Harrison will be joining us on Feb. 15th to discuss the new 110th Congress and how it will affect engineers. Mr. Harrison will provide insight into Congress' thinking on issues such as Intellectual Property Protection, Innovation and Immigration. Finally, he will discuss ways that individual engineers can influence and educate Congress

Speaker: Aaron Shilts, V.P. of Professional Services at Fishnet Security (The largest private information security company in the country).

Aaron Shilts joined FishNet Security in August 2002 and has over ten years of experience in the information security industry. As VP of Services for the Central Region, Mr. Shilts is responsible for the leadership of FishNet Security consultants and works closely with customers and vendors.

Prior to FishNet Security, Aaron served as a Senior Consultant for VeriSign Consulting Services where he delivered security solutions for customers throughout the United States. As the President and CEO of eSecurity Consulting, Inc., Mr. Shilts held direct responsibility for sales, delivery and general management of this security consulting firm. Prior to that, he served as a Sr. Security Engineer for Sprint Corporation and began his career performing network administration for St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Computer Information Systems, served in the Army National Guard and holds a variety of technical certifications.
